Celebrate San Francisco Valentine’s Events

Looking for a last minute Valentine’s events in San Francisco? Fancy yourself a bit of a party? Only in San Francisco, the San Francisco Convention and Visitor’s Bureau offers these events to ring in the holiday. Ever wonder the origin behind the San Francisco Heart project? Join the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation for the annual Hearts & Heros benefit. Or perhaps you are looking to taste small bites from local food vendors at the San Francisco Ferry Building to benefit Slow Food San Francisco School Garden Project. Either event is a fine way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and do something good for someone else at the same time.

8th Annual Food From The Heart

The public is invited to explore the Ferry Building as it bustles music, dancing, and seasonal small plates and wine. No prior ticket purchase is necessary to attend and there is no admission fee. Tickets for food and beverages will be available for sale at the event with all proceeds benefiting Slow Food San Francisco School Garden Project.

Hearts of San Francisco in Union Square




6th Annual Heroes & Hearts Luncheon

San Francisco General Hospital Foundation will recognize the 2011 heroes who inspire others through exceptional community service at the 6th Annual Heroes & Hearts Luncheon.  In addition to spotlighting exceptional community heroes, 14 new Hearts in San Francisco artworks will be displayed.  Six table-top hearts will be sold, with the proceeds going to support the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation.

Hearts After Dark

San Francisco General Hospital Foundation will host Hearts After Dark – an evening of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and live entertainment from Chris Clouse and DJ Solomon.  In addition to raising funds for the Foundation, the evening will introduce a new generation of San Franciscans to the programs and services offered by San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.
