4 Valentine’s Activities in San Francisco

Romance is in the air in San Francisco, and if you are looking for something new to spice up your holiday celebration, look no further than these four activities. From a cruise on the San Francisco Bay, to a free celebration for singles and couples in Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, celebrating Valentine’s Day is going to be a snap. Imagine, if you got on the ball RIGHT NOW, you could make reservations for one (or two) of these special events, wrap up the info in a pretty box, and give it to your beloved, all the while avoiding the last minute crunch to find the perfect gift. Genius.

“Sex and Science” Wine and Dine Tour

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the California Academy of Science’s special “Sex and Science” themed Wine and Dine tour, and take cues from some of the planet’s most amorous creatures.  During a pre-dinner tour, African penguins flaunt their feathers, which mate for life; and cichlids pucker up, which frequently lock lips. Take some lessons from the give-and-take practices of hermaphroditic sea slugs, and learn the real story behind Nemo’s clownfish family tree. Then, enjoy a romantic four-course dinner in the award-winning Moss Room restaurant.
